Liverpool remain frequently linked with players across England and Europe as the transfer rumour mill heads into overdrive.
Thewindow is well underway, and rumours are circling every day about who could be joining Liverpool after they made their first signing of the summer in the shape of Alexis Mac Allister from Brighton. The Argentina World Cup winner signed a five-year contract with the Reds.
As previously reported by the ECHO, Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp is looking to reinforce his midfield with James Milner, Naby Keita and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain all leaving Anfield this summer. The Reds are also targeting a left-sided centre-back.
And here is a round-up of the latest Liverpool transfer rumours as old and new names continue to be linked with a move to Anfield.

Micky van de Ven
According to David Lynch at Football Insider, Micky van de Ven is "high" on Liverpool's list of defensive recruits this summer.
The ECHO's Ian Doyle reported earlier this month that the Reds were targeting a left-sided centre-back this summer. As a result, Van de Ven could make sense as a target, having starred for Jorg Schmadtke's former club, Wolfsburg.
The Dutchman, who has spoken of his desire to move to a bigger club, is reportedly not for sale. Van de Ven is currently part of the Netherlands squad that will open its Euro U21 campaign with a group-stage game against Belgium on Wednesday.
Nicolo Barella
According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Liverpool, Chelsea, Manchester United and Newcastle United are all interested in signing Nicolo Barella from Inter Milan.
The report from the Italian publication also claims that Barella is open to a move to the Premier League and that Liverpool are at the front of the queue for the 26-year-old.
Barella won Serie A with Inter in 2021 and helped the Nerazzurri reach the final of the Champions League in 2023 and the final of the Europa League in 2020. The midfielder also won the 2020 European Championship with Italy.
Kyle Walker
According to Simon Jones of the Daily Mail, Kyle Walker is keen to stay at City and has opened talks over a contract extension.
After starting his career at Sheffield United, Walker moved to Tottenham Hotspur, where he stayed until joining Manchester City in 2017. He has since played over 250 games for the Etihad club, winning 12 trophies, including five Premier League titles and the Champions League.
However, the report from Jones also claimed that there had been rumours of interest from Liverpool too but it would be difficult to see such a transaction take place between the Premier League rivals. Walker has also recently been linked with a move to Bayern Munich.
