Jurgen Klopp is on a mission to ensure Liverpool fans have something to celebrate next season. But the Reds boss knows new additions to his squad are needed.
Liverpool missed out on a place in the Champions League after finishing fifth last season. But with signings on the way, they will be targeting a Premier League title charge once the new campaigns begins in August.
Klopp has already added top target Alexis Mac Allister to his squad from Brighton & Hove Albion in what was a cut-price deal of around £35million. And the German has now set his sights on other recruits.
Nice star Khephren Thuram is thought to be a key target. However, there are plenty of other players linked with a move to Anfield.

And here is a round-up of the latest transfer rumours surrounding the Reds this summer...
Manu Kone
Borussia Monchengladbach want Liverpool to submit an offer for France Under-21 international Manu Kone, according to SportBILD's Christian Falk. Falk believes a fee of around £34m could secure the services of the midfielder as Klopp eyes further reinforcements in the middle of the pitch.
“In the case of Manu Kone, Gladbach want over €40million (£34.2m) for the midfielder and are still hoping for an offer from Liverpool," Falk said. “Paris Saint-Germain can still be considered as an interested party, whilst Aston Villa and Wolves currently have an outside chance of securing a deal.”
Nicolo Barella
There was a huge shock last week when it was revealed Newcastle United had their sights set on signing Inter Milan midfielder Nicolo Barella for a fee of £50m However, that was quickly dismissed as the Champions League finalists would want a lot more than the fee it was claimed the Magpies would offer.
Liverpool have also been linked with a move for the Italy star and are said to be keeping an eye on his situation at Inter. But it has been revealed by Fichajes that a fee of around £80m would be required to buy Barella.
Micky van de Ven
It's not just midfield additions Liverpool are looking at as they reportedly pursue Wolfsburg defender Micky van de Ven. However, the Reds face competition from Bayern Munich.
Falk has also written about the Van de Ven situation: "As with Kim Min-jae, the Bundesliga champions have Premier League competition to contend with as Micky van de Ven from Wolfsburg is wanted by both Bayern and Liverpool.
"It’s the Reds that have a slight edge given that it was their new sporting director, Jorg Schmadtke, who brought van de Ven to Wolfsburg from FC Volendam in 2021 for a fee of just €3.5m. The 22-year-old’s market value is now €18m, and he has a contract at Wolfsburg that runs until 2027 without an exit clause. Schmadtke knows best."
