Liverpool is set to experience a heatwave throughout June with temperatures reaching around 30"C.
The Met Office has warned the North West will experience the "driest conditions" in the UK. The forecast says the high pressure will "dominate" in the early part of the month with dry weather expected all over the country.
From the bank holiday, temperatures will sit around 20°C before slowly skyrocketing with “unsettled conditions” likely to follow. Meanwhile in Majorca, Spain, temperatures are expected to sit around 23°C meaning people in Merseyside will be basking in sunshine hotter than the popular tourist destination.

The long-range forecast from June 8 said: "Through this period there is an increasing likelihood that unsettled conditions will slowly begin to extend northward across the UK from the south, with some heavy, thundery showers and longer spells of rain possible.
"The northwest of the UK is likely to experience the driest conditions. Winds are expected to be light but with stronger sea breezes in some coastal areas at times.
"Temperatures are most likely to be above average overall, though eastern coastal areas may feel cooler, with a greater chance of onshore winds here."
