Liverpool tipped to sign three more players including Jude Bellingham

This summer has already seen Liverpool make Darwin Nunez their record signing, however with their rivals strengthening around them there could well be the need for some more reinforcements whether it be during this transfer window or the next.

The departure of Sadio Mane means that there have been many attacking players linked to the Reds while there is also a need to look to the future of Liverpool's midfield with Jordan Henderson and Thiago both over the age of 30.

Given Jurgen Klopp's side's status as one of the top sides in Europe, there are a host of exciting players linked with a move to Anfield, with the bookies' odds often a strong indicator of whether or not a player will make a move.

Here, we take a look at the three most-heavily linked with a move to Merseyside in the future.

Jude Bellingham

Nobody has been linked more consistently to Anfield in recent times than Borussia Dortmund midfielder Jude Bellingham. The 19-year-old former Birmingham City player became a key man for the German giants last season and has become a regular England international having now earned 15 caps for his country.

Many see the combative and gifted teenager as a long-term replacement for Jordan Henderson in the Liverpool midfield but those who are hopeful of seeing Bellingham arrive at Anfield this summer may be disappointed. Any move is expected to take place next summer given the current abundance of players at Klopp's disposal, but right now there appear to be no more likely destination for the midfielder man.

The two other clubs who the bookies believe could challenge Liverpool are both Manchester clubs, but it looks very likely that Liverpool could be the destination for the star.

  • Liverpool 4/1
  • Manchester City 14/1
  • Manchester Utd 16/1
  • Real Madrid 30/1
  • Arsenal 33/1
  • Chelsea 33/1
  • Tottenham 33/1

Leroy Sane

Former Manchester City winger Sane has enjoyed a mixed spell back in Germany at Bayern Munich but is still just 26-years-old and could prove a long-term option for the Reds.

His Bayern teammate Serge Gnabry has been linked to an Anfield move this summer, but the bookies believe that Liverpool could well make an appropriate destination for the Germany international. With Mohamed Salah now into his thirties and the departure of Sadio Mane, Sane's Premier League experience could well prove a good selling point for the Reds' hierarchy.

Mane's move to Bavaria could also see the star fazed out under Julian Nagelsmann's plans, but Liverpool would have to act quickly with Arsenal currently the favourites to sign former Schalke star at 10/1.

  • Arsenal 10/1
  • Liverpool 16/1

Tammy Abraham

One option from left-field could well be Roma's Tammy Abraham, who enjoyed a brilliant debut season in Serie A last season. The former Chelsea man bagged 17 league goals last season and could well come in to provide strong competition for Darwin Nunez.

Should the Uruguayan fail to adapt to the Premier League quickly, the Reds will need someone in his place to cover the goals required to compete on all fronts as the club did last season.

Abraham was linked with moves to Arsenal earlier in the summer, a move which failed to materialise, meaning that he remains on the market - the arrival of Paulo Dybala in Rome could also mean that Jose Mourinho would be more willing to part with one of his more potent attacking talents.

Manchester United are favourites for the England star's signature at 10/1, with former club Chelsea ranked joint second with Liverpool.

  • Manchester Utd 10/1
  • Chelsea 14/1
  • Liverpool 14/1
  • Dortmund 16/1
  • Arsenal 25/1
