Diaz is named among the substitutes alongside the returning Harvey Elliott and Thiago Alcantara for the tie at Anfield.
And Jurgen Klopp has named a strong starting line-up as the Reds look to take a step nearer another Wembley final date.
Nevertheless, there are two notable absentees in Joe Gomez and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, who recently tested positive for coronavirus and have completed their isolation period and are able to resume training but haven’t been considered for selection.

There are a total of five changes from the side that won 3-1 at Crystal Palace in the Premier League in the Reds' last outing a fortnight ago.
Caoimhin Kelleher replaces Alisson Becker in goal, while Kostas Tsimikas comes in at left-back and Ibrahima Konate partners Virgil van Dijk at centre-back. Trent Alexander-Arnold continues at right-back.
Naby Keita is back in midfield having returned from the Africa Cup of Nations, where he joins Curtis Jones and skipper Jordan Henderson.
Up front, Takumi Minamino comes in alongside Diogo Jota and Roberto Firmino.
With five substitutions permitted in the FA Cup, teenagers Kaide Gordon and Tyler Morton are also among those on the bench.
