Manchester City have "strongly condemned" an alleged attack on the Liverpool team coach as it was leaving the Etihad Stadium on Saturday afternoon.
According to The Athletic, a brick was allegedly thrown toward the coach, which caused a window to crack. No-one on board was thought to have suffered any injuries.
City released a statement on their official website condemning the damage to the Liverpool bus.

The statement reads: "Manchester City FC has been made aware that Liverpool FC’s coach sustained damage on its return journey following today’s game.
"We understand an object was thrown towards the coach in a residential area. Incidents of this kind are totally unacceptable, and we strongly condemn the actions of the individual(s) responsible.
"We will fully support Greater Manchester Police’s investigation into this incident in any way we can. Additionally, the Club is disappointed to have heard inappropriate chants from home fans during the game today.
"We regret any offence these chants may have caused and will continue to work with supporter groups and officials from both clubs to eradicate hateful chanting from this fixture."
Liverpool will also support any investigation into the alleged incident.
Earlier in the afternoon City released a statement saying they "regret any offence" caused by a number of their supporters singing about the Hillsborough disaster during the match.
The hosts won 4-1 with goals from Julian Alvarez, Kevin De Bruyne, Ilkay Gundogan and Jack Grealish after Mohamed Salah had put Liverpool ahead.
