Liverpool star Diogo Jota admits Manchester City are not yet in his mind after the two Premier League title rivals drew each other in the FA Cup semi-finals. Both clubs rubber-stamped a crunch meeting beneath the famous arch at Wembley with quarter-final victories on Sunday afternoon.
A strong-looking City team swept aside Southampton in their last eight tie at St Mary's Stadium before the draw was conducted. It saw Pep Guardiola pitted against Jurgen Klopp — so long as the latter could steer his side through to the national stadium with victory over Nottingham Forest, which Liverpool duly did.
Jota settled the scores at the City Ground with a late goal to make it 1-0. However, that game could have gone either way and Forest passed up one golden opportunity moments before the Portuguese forward netted his 19th goal of the season in all competitions.

And with only a point separating Liverpool and City in their ongoing Premier League title race, meanwhile, their impending FA Cup showdown might even be followed up by another match-up in the Champions League final.
The teams will also lock horns in a potentially season-defining league game on Sunday, April 10 at the Etihad Stadium. And Jota, though, argues Liverpool are not yet ready to focus on those events.
During his post-match interview, Jota said: " I didn't know. Okay, so it's another tough game and we have a lot of those until the end of the season. But like you said, there are a lot of games before that so, let's focus on the next one after the break."
