Sound City Festival has announced another headline artist for its 2023 event, along with a host of other artists who will be taking to the stage.
Sheffield indie band The Reytons will be headlining Sound City on the Saturday night of the festival. The Reytons will be joining rising pop star Maisie Peters, who is headlining on the Sunday night, and many more musicians performing across the three days.
Sound City will run from Friday 28 April to Sunday 30 April. The announcement follows the release of The Reytons new album, 'What's Rock And Roll?', which is set to become the band’s first UK number one album.

Joining The Reytons on this second wave of artists for Sound City 2023 is local Merseyside’s Michael Aldag. He first rose to prominence on TikTok, and now has more than 700,000 followers on the app as fans enjoy his comedy videos as well as his music and insights into his life as a young artist.
Another North-West act The K’s are also joining the line-up, and the band have a knack for getting crowds bouncing with their indie anthems, while The Covasettes will be jumping across the M62 from Manchester to Liverpool for Sound City. Also joining the line-up are Swim Deep, who have been touring with The 1975 and performed at Glastonbury, and Dylan John Thomas, a Scottish singer/songwriter.
Sound City is renowned for uncovering new talent, with past alumni including Ed Sheeran, Lizzo, Stormzy, Grimes, Yungblud, The 1975 and more. The festival will also take up residency at a new home on Saturday 29 and Sunday 30 April 2023, with Mountford Hall at the Liverpool Guild of Students hosting the festival this year, where artists from Queen and The Buzzcocks to Jessie J and Dizzee Rascal having taken to the stage over the years.
