Liverpool have continued to bolster their Academy ranks with the signing of centre-back Oludare Olufunwa.
The 21-year-old has moved to the Reds following a short trial with the under-21 side having been released by Southampton at the end of last season after more than a decade working through the ranks at the club.
Olufunwa appeared twice last season in the EFL Trophy for the South Coast side and was a regular in Premier League 2 during the first half of the campaign.

He spent last summer on a pre-season camp with the Southampton first team having signed a two-year deal the previous year.
Olufunwa will provide extra competition at the heart of the defence for Barry Lewtas's U21 side, with Rhys Williams and Billy Koumetio out on loan for the season at Blackpool and Austria Vienna respectively.
Jarell Quansah and Lee Jonas were the centre-backs in the opening 3-0 Premier League 2 defeat at home to Manchester City on Sunday, while Terence Miles has made the step up from the U18s this season.
