Liverpool sent 'left behind' warning as Jude Bellingham transfer claim made
Pundit Robbie Savage has warned Liverpool could get 'left behind' as they find themselves as a team in 'transition' this season.
The Reds have seen a number of changes to their squad this summer, with a fresh approach needed following the departure of Sadio Mane and arrival of Darwin Nunez from Benfica. Elsewhere, mounting injuries in midfield has caused a selection headache for Jurgen Klopp, but reinforcements are expected in 2023.

Liverpool have had their worst start to a campaign under the current manager, collecting just two points out of a possible nine from their opening three games. Draws against Fulham and Crystal Palace were compounded by a disappointing defeat to Manchester United earlier this week.
Savage believes rumoured target Jude Bellingham cannot come 'soon enough' and he's warned teams in transition quickly get left behind.
Naby Keita injury update as Jurgen Klopp confirms Liverpool injury situation for Bournemouth
Jurgen Klopp is hopeful of soon welcoming back some of Liverpool’s walking wounded – but not in time for the weekend visit of Bournemouth.
The Reds were without nine injured players – along with the suspended Darwin Nunez – for Monday’s 2-1 defeat at Manchester United that continued their winless start to the Premier League season.
Klopp admits he will have to rely on the same squad as Old Trafford for Saturday’s clash against Bournemouth at Anfield.
However, both centre-back Joel Matip, who has sat out the last fortnight with a groin issue, and midfielder Curtis Jones, missing since the Community Shield with a calf complaint, could shortly be considered for inclusion with Newcastle United visiting on Wednesday.
