Liverpool sent Lautaro Martinez transfer message as Divock Origi move mooted

The transfer window has been closed for more than a month and Liverpool’s squad is set for the remainder of the season.

Luis Diaz was Jurgen Klopp's only signing during January after the club agreed a £49m deal with Porto to bring the Colombia international to Anfield.

Reds boss Klopp did push to sign rising star Fabio Carvalho from Fulham as well but a move could not be completed before the deadline.

Liverpool are expected to go back in for Carvalho in the summer but he's not the only player being linked with the Quadruple-chasers..

Who?

What?

The agent of Martinez has provided an update on his client’s future amid apparent interest from Liverpool.

The Argentina international has been linked with a move to Anfield in recent weeks with Arsenal also being credited with an interest.

Despite this, Martinez’s agent insists that the player, who is contracted at Inter until 2026, will not be moving in the summer.

"He is staying at Inter," Alejando Camano said. "Lautaro has a five-year contract with Inter, he feels like an Interista. Inter are the team in his heart. He feels like an extra fan on the pitch.

"His family is also very happy in Milan. I can say with certainty: there is no possibility that Lautaro will leave Inter. He cares so much about winning with this club."

Who?

Djed Spence, Middlesbrough right-back.

What?

According to the report, Liverpool are one of four clubs who are said to be interested in signing Spence, who is on loan at Nottingham Forest from Middlesbrough.

The report adds that Bayern Munich, Borussia Dortmund and Arsenal are the other clubs in the running.

However, it has also been claimed that a deal for Liverpool to sign Spence would be 'complicated'.

This, the report says, is due to Trent Alexander-Arnold being a mainstay at right-back at Anfield, and a lack of game time for any new signing in that position.

Who?

Divock Origi, Liverpool striker.

Where?

Milan Live .

What?

According to the report, AC Milan have listed Origi as a potential target as they look to sign a new forward.

But it adds Milan have listed several potential options.

Torino’s Andrea Belotti, Hoffenheim’s Andrej Kramaric, Sassuolo’s Gianluca Scamacca, Lille’s Jonathan David and Real Sociedad’s Alexander Isak have also been tipped to be possible targets.

It has been claimed that Origi’s lack of regular game time, and the recent arrival of Diaz, has led to Milan considering a move.
