Liverpool have become the latest club to be linked with a move for Bristol City midfielder Alex Scott.
According to a report by the Daily Mail, Liverpool's head of recruitment Dave Fallows and chief scout Barry Hunter were among the crowd to check on the 19-year-old as England Under 20s faced Germany last month. The report also claims that West Ham and Wolves are keen on signing the young midfielder in the upcoming summer transfer window.
Liverpool's recruitment team have been undertaking preparatory work ahead of a transfer window during which Jurgen Klopp's squad is expected to have a sizeable overhaul. Jude Bellingham of Borussia Dortmund remains the club’s main transfer target heading into the summer, with Mason Mount, Matheus Nunes and Conor Gallagher also on Liverpool’s list of targets.

"We need players, we cannot go with only three midfielders into a season,” Reds boss Klopp said recently when asked about transfers.
“We count on them [teenagers Harvey Elliot and Stefan Bajcetic] but that does not mean we will not have a look in the summer.
"The challenge for us with the changes we have made now or over the next few years we have always replaced a sensational player or formation, because the boys are just that good. That is how it is but that doesn't mean we don't have to make changes."
