Real Madrid forward Vinicius Jr has appeared to snub Liverpool star Trent Alexander-Arnold when listing his toughest opponents.
The Reds full-back came up against Real Madrid in last season’s Champions League final. However, Vinicius got the better of the Liverpool defender by scoring the winning goal in Paris.
On their way to the final, Madrid also faced Liverpool’s Premier League rivals Manchester City and Chelsea. And now when listing his toughest opponents from England, Vinicius did not mention Alexander-Arnold.

Vinicius told SPORTbible : “I've played against a lot of them and the most difficult opponents were Chelsea's [Reece] James and [Kyle] Walker, of Manchester City."
When reflecting on the goal against Liverpool, Vinicius described it as the “most beautiful” of his career. The Brazilian went on to explain how much that goal meant to him.
"I think it was certainly the most important goal of my career. The most beautiful, the most special," Vinicius added.
"It was a very important moment, winning the Champions League at 22 and scoring in the final. It will be remembered forever, even more so being at a club that wins so much and loves this competition.
"I'm very happy, but I don't want to stop there. There are a lot of Champions Leagues ahead and I want to win as many as possible."
