The Live For The Arts showcase arrives in Liverpool this week to emphasise the city's cultural ties to Spain.
The event has toured major cities from New York to Cologne but will call Liverpool's INNSIDE Hotel its next official home. The artistic celebration shines a light on different destinations and looks to connect culture between Mallorca and other cities around the world.
The free event on Saturday June 17 will fuse art, literature, music and gastronomy to explore the connection between Mallorca and Liverpool, with the Beatles acting as the key source of inspiration.

Screenings, conversations, poetry recitals, live music performances and live art installations will all be accessible with the activities taking place across multiple areas within the hotel.
A traditional gastronomic experience will kick off the afternoon, with a live demonstration of an old-fashioned preparation of one of the most traditional dishes on offer.
Gonzalo Hevia, Regional Marketing Manager at Meliá Hotels International, told the ECHO that Liverpool was chosen not only because of its unique ties to Spain and multiple cities across the nation but the impact it has all over the world.
Gonzalo said: "Liverpool matches the event very well. It's such a diverse and populous city that feels so welcoming to the rest of the world. We want to stray away from capital cities and we felt that Liverpool has always had a huge connection with culture whether it's the Beatles or Eurovision more recently.
"What a lot of people don't know, and why it's a key theme this year, is the Beatles' connection with Spain. Going back to John Lennon and Yoko Ono's arrest in Mallorca and to the first Spanish musician to play at the Cavern Club, there's so much hidden history between [the two nations] that we want to highlight."
LIPA musicians will join Spanish artist Luis Albert Segura in concert, performing some of their original songs as well as the Beatles covers. Accompanied by pianist Gori Matas, Aina Zanoguera, one of Mallorca’s most unique voices, will sing traditional songs and give them a contemporary twist. Live For The Arts will also pay tribute to Robert Graves - a British writer who was captivated by Mallorca, where he spent his final years. Guests can expect a poetic recital by actress Clara Ingold while Pau Aguiló paints live in one of the hotel rooms.
Liverpool illustrator Jess Hanko will create live interventions with portraits of the event participants. Meanwhile, Liverpool-based urban artist Paul Curtis will create a live urban art mural throughout the entire event.
There will also be a documentary screening on Kyoko: the alleged kidnapping of a young Japanese girl named Kyoko. After the screening, guests will listen to about contemporary myths and the Beatles with film director Marcos Cabotá and historian Tomeu Canyelles.
