Manchester City star Kyle Walker once again clocked-up the top speed in the Premier League last season.
Walker, 33, has been renowned throughout his career as a jet-heeled defender for club and country - and he even managed to keep Kylian Mbappe at bay during their World Cup showdown. The England international's fastest sprint during the 2022/2023 campaign came in at a rather astonishing 37.31 km/h.
Nottingham Forest striker Brennan Johnson (36.70 km/h) and Chelsea prospect Mykailo Mudryk (36.63 km/h) were second and third respectively, while former Everton forward Anthony Gordon (36.61 km/h) and Liverpool frontman Darwin Nunez (36.53 km/h) completed the top-five places.
It means Nunez is officially the quickest player in Liverpool right now! Data from the Premier League was uploaded on their Twitter account this afternoon. Other high-profile names in the top-10 include Manchester City goal machine Erling Haaland and mid-season Tottenham Hotspur loanee Arnaut Danjuma, who peaked at 36.22 km/h and 36.34 km/h respectively.

In his debut campaign, Nunez proved to be quicker than renowned speedsters Harvey Barnes (Leicester City) and Marcus Rashford (Manchester United).
Having arrived at Liverpool from Benfica last summer, Nunez recorded nine goals - and three assists - during his first Premier League season from 29 appearances. He scored six more in other competitions.
The 24-year-old cost around €80m and has already been capped 16 times by the Uruguay national team. He has also netted three goals for his country and represented them at the winter World Cup finals in Qatar.
Nunez has been tipped to take over the No.9 shirt at Anfield next season.
