The overwhelming majority of Liverpool supporters would rather the Reds compete in the Europa League or Europa Conference League next season than miss out on European football altogether - according to a recent survey by the ECHO.
Jurgen Klopp's side currently sit in fifth position in the Premier League and trail fourth-placed Manchester United by one point - albeit having played a game more - after a run of six consecutive victories in the Premier League.

Despite standing unbeaten in the league since defeat at Manchester City on April 1, Liverpool will be made to wait for either Manchester United or Newcastle United to drop points in their remaining fixtures if they are to have any hopes of securing a seventh successive season in UEFA's premier competition.
But despite the prospect of a return to the second tier of European football for the first time since 2016, 2,500 (73 per cent) of 3424 supporters surveyed by the ECHO admitted they would be happy to see the Reds compete in either Europa League or the Europa Conference League - insisting that it is a European trophy very much worth winning.
Liverpool have won the Europa League, formally known as the UEFA Cup, on three occasions and most recently in 2001 when they beat Spanish outfit Alaves 5-4 in a thrilling final in Dortmund's Westfalenstadion. However, Jose Mourinho's AS Roma are the only side to have won the Europa Conference League after its inaugural final was contested between the Serie A giants and Feyenoord in May 2022.
On the other hand, 45 per cent of those who took part in the ECHO's poll believe Liverpool are still within a chance of securing a top-four finish despite the advantage Erik Ten Hag's and Eddie Howe's sides boast ahead of a sprint finish to the Premier League season.
The survey also revealed that 63 per cent of supporters believe a potential absence from the Champions League won't affect the Reds' summer transfer plans, with Alexis Mac Allister, Mason Mount, Manuel Ugarte and Conor Gallagher all linked with moves to Anfield.
United have four games remaining, with three at Old Trafford, against Wolverhampton Wanderers, Bournemouth, Chelsea and Fulham. Liverpool, meanwhile, will face Leicester City, Aston Villa and Southampton.
