A new venue has claimed the top spot on TripAdvisor's best restaurants in Liverpool just one month after opening its doors.
Liverpool has no shortage of excellent dining options, with cuisines from across the globe to tickle your taste buds available across the city centre and beyond. But Rudy's Albert Dock is currently claiming the coveted number one spot.
The new venue opened to the public on Monday, December 12 2022 and is already making waves in the hospitality scene. Based in the former The Leather Satchel Company, the new pizzeria promotes the same relaxed, welcoming atmosphere that has made the brand so beloved.

Rudy's already operates two venues in the city, one on Castle Street and a spot on Bold Street, with its Albert Dock site marking its third Liverpool venture. Rudy's Pizza Napoletana has offered the classic Neapolitan pizza since 2015, and it continues to grow in popularity.
It currently boasts 143 reviews branding it 'excellent' on TripAdvisor's website. One five star review reads: "One of if not the best pizza outside of Italy highly recommended Rudy's, fantastic service also. We will definitely be returning".
Another states: "Very friendly welcome served in great time plus one of the best pizzas I have ever eaten. Overall great experience Thank you". A third reviewer penned: "Great proper Italian at Albert Docks, bustling but friendly, prompt attention from the staff who were friendly and knowledgeable with the menu. Food was hot and well presented. One little criticism would be to tell Google maps exactly where you are".
Another reviewer commented: "Excellent pizza! Truly Worth it! The pizza is just amazing including the dough and toppings! Such a nice atmosphere and good service! Surely a good value of money!"
And another added: "We had a table with a beautiful view of Albert dock, the atmosphere in Rudy's was lovely. Our waiter Ricky was friendly and helpful. Food was delicious and arrived in good time despite the restaurant being busy. Overall, a really nice dinner, would definitely recommend!!"
