Liverpool restaurant offering two-for-one cocktails all day, every day

TGI Fridays is offering two-for-one on cocktails, all day, every day ahead of World Bartending Day tomorrow, February 24.

The offer applies across its huge cocktail menu, which includes classic drinks like a Negroni, Mojito, and Tequila Sunrise. The deal applies to all TGI Fridays locations across England and Wales.

TGI Fridays has also introduced its own cocktail-making masterclasses led by its team of expert bartenders throughout all restaurants in England, Wales and Scotland. During the fun-filled session, guests will learn how to recreate classics including the famous Long Island Iced Tea, as well testing their own creative skills as they handcraft their own cocktails.

The only caveat, which usually applies to two-for-one cocktail offers, is that you need to order two of the same drink, so no mixing matching your drinks. Plus, of course, you might need to show your ID.

TGI Fridays said: "Everyone has their signature drink. So, whether you are a Classic Negroni or a Bubblegum Daiquiri lover, our new 2-for-1 cocktail offer means that you and a friend can indulge yourselves at half the price.

"We’ve got long history behind the bar, it’s our thing. Since 1965 we’ve been shaking things up, creating cocktails for every mood – we even trained Tom Cruise for his role in the film ‘Cocktail’!

"From muddling the perfect Mojito to our iconic Purple Rain, our bartenders know their stuff. It’s their passion and it’s perfectly poured into each and every drink."

Speaking about its cocktail masterclass, the chain said: "It’s the perfect experience for a birthday or celebration. Expert bartenders will teach the classic TGI Fridays methods, with guests then able to showcase their own creative skills as they get to mix their own cocktails."

As part of the deal, guests will also be able to enjoy sharing food platters with famous TGI Fridays classics, such as sesame chicken strips and loaded potato skins, as they sip their own handcrafted cocktail.

Rhiannon Scarlett, chief marketing officer at TGI Fridays, added: “We are so excited to be celebrating our cocktail bar roots and American heritage, with two new fantastic offerings that our guests can enjoy. We’ve been crafting iconic cocktails behind our bars for over 50 years, and we can’t wait for our guests to have a go!

"At TGI Fridays we encourage everyone to come as they are and be their true selves, and giving guests the chance to both enjoy our legendary cocktails and make their own is the perfect way to do this.”
