A Liverpool restaurant has been named one of the most popular venues for afternoon tea in the UK.
Ahead of National Tea Day on Friday, the top 12 spots serving up afternoon tea have been revealed. The list has been compiled using a unique index score generated by the number of hashtags each location has racked up on Instagram, as well as Google and Tripadvisor reviews, with the lower the overall index score the higher the ranking.
Afternoon tea locations given the nod include venues in Edinbugh, Belfast and Liverpool. Panoramic 34 in West Tower on Brook Street came seventh, ahead of Thames Foyer at The Savoy in London and New House Country Hotel in Cardiff.
