Liverpool reportedly 'monitoring' talented 19-year-old Czech forward

Liverpool are reportedly monitoring the progress of exciting young Czech forward Adam Hlozek.

The 19-year-old Sparta Prague winger has scored eight goals and provided 12 assists this season and is wanted by a handful of top European clubs including Borussia Dortmund and Bayern Munich.

But French football outlet Jeunes Footeux says that Jurgen Klopp's Reds are closely monitoring the player's performances ahead of their summer transfer dealings.

Under contract until 2024, a potential deal for Hlozek is believed to be worth in excess of 19milllion euros to Sparta.

Hlozek is already a full Czech Republic international, with 19 appearances and one goal for his national team. He was also included in the Czech's Euro 2020 campaign.

Liverpool appear to remain on the lookout for exciting young attacking talent, with ongoing interest in Fabio Carvalho who almost signed in January.

Considered one of Europe's brightest talents, Hlozek is noted for his knack for beating his man and exceptional close control.

Although he has previously indicated a preference for playing in the German Bundesliga, any offer from Liverpool could make the teenager have second thoughts, as the Reds continue their ambitious quest to win four major trophies this season.
