Jurgen Klopp makes Man City claim
Jurgen Klopp has played down Liverpool’s chances of winning a quadruple, and instead made a trophy claim about Manchester City. The Reds are still battling for three major titles after already getting the Carabao Cup under their belts.
Liverpool are in Champions League action this week, as they take on Benfica in the quarter-finals. Klopp’s outfit are also in the FA Cup semi-final and fighting for the Premier League title, taking on Man City in both.
The Reds are one point adrift of Man City in the league table with eight matches left to play, and take on Pep Guardiola’s team later this week. Just a few days later, Liverpool will face City yet again in the FA Cup semi-final.
Klopp believes that even though he is happy for supporters to dream of the club winning an unprecedented quadruple, he doesn't think it’s a realistic goal. The German went on to say that he thinks Man City are more likely to win a treble this term.
