It's been another busy week at Anfield following the shock news that sporting director Julian Ward is to leave Liverpool.
Ward only succeeded Michael Edwards as the man overseeing Liverpool's transfer strategy in the summer but has left the club 'surprised and disappointed' after informing them he is to depart and take a break from football next summer.
And that's not all, Liverpool's director of research Dr Ian Graham will follow Ward out of the exit door as FSG face up to a major overhaul in the Reds' transfer department.
Liverpool's American owners are, of course, continuing to explore a sale of the club and with the news that Manchester United are also on the market after the announcement that the Glazers are willing to cash in, rumours are starting to get stronger about potential takeovers of two of the world's biggest football clubs.
Indeed, Saudi Arabian prince Abdulaziz bin Turki Al Faisal said that there was a lot of "interest and appetite" from the private sector in both clubs on Thursday.
