Liverpool can move to within three points of Premier League leaders Manchester City with a win over West Ham at Anfield on Saturday afternoon.
A victory over the Hammers would increase the pressure on City ahead of their match against Manchester United on Sunday, in what is already a crucial match for Pep Guardiola’s side.
The Reds are in flying form having won the Carabao Cup final over Chelsea last weekend on penalties, they have also won their last seven league fixtures.
But West Ham are battling it out for the fourth spot and won’t go down without a fight, they beat Wolves 1-0 last weekend but were beaten 3-1 by Southampton in the FA Cup on Wednesday.

Jurgen Klopp has stressed the importance of his squad depth ahead of Saturday, with several of his stars ruled out with injury.
Speaking on Friday, the German said: “Strength is depth is really important, no doubt about that, especially when you have to play different competitions. But we have players who are not available.
“I'm pretty sure that nobody will tell me differently, because he didn't train yesterday, that Thiago (Alcantara) will not be available for tomorrow.
"Curtis is not bad but if it's good enough to go again tomorrow, I don't know. Joel Matip is ill. Not Covid but he won't be available.
"We played a tough game midweek so we still wait a little bit to see how everyone is in each moment.
"All of a sudden from eight midfielders, Naby we don't know, to three or four midfielders in a week. That can happen easily.
"It's not we enjoy the full choice. You have the full choice one day then the other days you don't have it. We have to make sure we stay as fit as possible because we have a lot of games to play in this upcoming month."
Roberto Firmino and Naby Keita have both been unavailable of late, and neither look likely to make their return against West Ham.
Klopp continued: “Naby was not in the squad on Wednesday (for Norwich).
"Bobby is looking good but not for the weekend. The plan is he trains on Sunday for first time full.
"That sounds then doable for Tuesday (vs Inter Milan)."
With Matip ruled out, summer signing Ibrahima Konate looks likely to slot into central defence alongside Virgil van Dijk and make his eighth Premier League appearance of the season.
Alisson, Trent Alexander-Arnold and Andrew Robertson are all available and unlikely to be dropped for this crucial match.
Liverpool ’s injury woes in midfield are significant, but fans can have confidence in the fact that two of the first names on the team sheet, Jordan Henderson and Fabinho, look set to start.
Harvey Elliott looks the top contender to slot into the midfield as a No.10 to try and unlock the West Ham defence, though Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain could be an unexpected inclusion.
The Reds’ front three caused Chelsea plenty of issues last Sunday and Klopp may feel it is unjust to drop any of the trio.
Liverpool (4-3-3): Alisson, Trent Alexander-Arnold, Ibrahima Konate, Virgil van Dijk, Andrew Robertson, Jordan Henderson, Fabinho, Harvey Elliott, Mohamed Salah, Luis Diaz, Sadio Mane
