Liverpool are still on track for a historic season as Diogo Jota's only goal of the game secured a 1-0 win over Nottingham Forest in the quarter-finals of the FA Cup.
The Reds were drawn against Premier League leaders Manchester City in the semi-finals of the FA Cup - meaning the two sides will come to blows twice inside of a week. City secured their place in the last four with a comfortable 4-1 win over Southampton.
Some of Liverpool 's players took to social media to react to securing another match at Wembley - a stadium that brings fond memories after a penalty shootout win over Chelsea in the Carabao Cup final at the end of February.

Virgil van Dijk started the evening as captain with Jordan Henderson on the bench and the Dutchman posted a small message to the Liverpool fans after the match: "See you at Wembley!"
James Milner was absent from the squad through illness, but he was able to send a message of support after the quarter-final win: "Well done boys."
Goal scorer Jota took to his social media account with a message of: "Wembley again."
Youngster Harvey Elliott started in the front three for Liverpool and he posted on Instagram: "Wembley here we come! Thanks to the travelling fans, safe journey back."
Joe Gomez also posted "Onto Wembley" after impressing in the win, as did Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain.
Kostas Tsimikas, meanwhile, simply went for "voila". Indeed.
