Liverpool player ratings as Trent Alexander-Arnold and three others shine in dramatic win vs Tottenham

Alisson Becker 6

Controlled a Porro shot from 55 yards on his chest and saved well from Kulusevski with his feet. Distribution was however at times ponderous and risky.

Trent Alexander-Arnold 9

Superb cross created the first and pass in to Gakpo helped earn the penalty for the third. Oozing creativity when stepping into a central position. Excellent.

MATCH RECAP: Liverpool vs Tottenham final score, highlights and reaction

Ibrahima Konate 6

Defended sensibly first half on his return to the side and tidier in possession, but second half hard work as Tottenham fought back and lost Son for second. Booked.

Virgil van Dijk 6

Cleared off the line from Son but slip allowed Perisic to set up Kane to begin Tottenham comeback.

Andy Robertson 6

Able to get forward but twice gifted Tottenham clear opportunities that gave the visitors momentum going into second half and didn’t quite recover.

Fabinho 7

Much better from the Brazilian, who was on the front foot and pressed high. Often in the right place at right time.

Harvey Elliott 7

Brought some neat and tidy play to the right side of midfield and energy. Involved in build-up to second goal. Subbed.

Curtis Jones 7

Took the opener superbly and helped Liverpool control the opening half-hour, while second half showcased more of his tenacious pressing. Subbed.

Mohamed Salah 8

Involved in the second and exorcised any penalty demons by scoring the third, and such a threat whenever in possession.

Cody Gakpo 8

Pressed superbly leading the line, excellent in laying on the second goal and quick feet won the penalty. Links the play well. Subbed.

Luis Diaz 8

Relished his first start in more than six months, taking his goal brilliantly and terrorising Tottenham. Took a nasty one from Skipp but kept going. Subbed.

GET INVOLVED: Do you agree with Ian Doyle's ratings? Give your take below:

Jordan Henderson (for Elliott 63) 6

Unable to properly slow down an increasingly frenetic game on his inclusion.

Diogo Jota (for Diaz 63) 7

Hustle and bustle from the Portuguese before his dramatic late winner. Booked.

Darwin Nunez (for Gakpo 73) 5

Found it difficult to get into the action and couldn’t stop Tottenham levelling in injury time.

James Milner (for Jones 86)

Brought on to see the game out. Booked.
