Alisson Becker 7
Got enough on ball – even if unintentional – to divert Perisic header on to post, and long ball helped set up second. Almost caught out by Kane second half, though, and put under lot of pressure.
Trent Alexander-Arnold 7
Two great crossfield passes prompted gasps from the crowd but survived first-half penalty claim after contact on Sessegnon. Targeted by Tottenham after break but wasn’t deterred..
Ibrahima Konate 8
Mixed bag before break of some decisive defending followed by a spate of misjudged passes. Second half tougher with Kane in mood, but stuck to task and vital clearing headers late on.
YOUR SHOUT: Rate the Liverpool players in the 2-1 win over Tottenham Hotspur
VERDICT: Jurgen Klopp will have loved what Tottenham fans did moments before Liverpool win confirmed
Virgil van Dijk 7
Strong up against Kane, although almost caused issues with one missed clearance. Pace of Kulusevski a more difficult challenge. Dominant in air.
Andy Robertson 8
Another barnstorming display down the left, creating chance for Nunez and then finding same player to create first. Tenacious in his defending.
Fabinho 7
Another much-improved showing from the Brazilian, whose positioning was matched by positive distribution. Had to get through a lot of work second half.
Harvey Elliott 7
Involved in build-up to first goal and put in a real shift both going forward and defending. Linked play well. Subbed.
Thiago Alcantara 6
Slightly wayward start but soon grew into the game and kept Liverpool at high tempo before break but difficult to sustain it after that.
Mohamed Salah 9
Gave Davies a tough time and took his two first-half goals superbly, not least the first with a quick touch and shot on turn. Dangerous whenever drifting infield. Subbed.
Roberto Firmino 6
Enjoys himself against Tottenham and prospered when dropping a little deeper and allowing Salah space to combine, but hounded out of it second half. Subbed.
Darwin Nunez 7
Always a threat driving in from the left, tested Lloris with good shot early on and laid on opener for Salah. Subbed.
Curtis Jones (for Elliott 74) 6
Slotted in on the left as Liverpool looked to ease pressure.
Jordan Henderson (for Firmino 74) 6
Largely defensive effort as Tottenham dominated after break.
Joe Gomez (for Nunez 87)
Made it a back five for the closing minutes.
Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain (for Salah 90+2)
Win bonus.
