Distribution and handling impressive in some very tricky conditions. Super stop denied Odegaard when scores were still goalless.

Some good clearing headers and just about shaded battle with Lacazette before wandering upfield more regularly second half.

Dealt well with Saka and looked to raid forward when possible. Sheer desire saw him create the second goal which his performance deserved. Excellent.

Fabinho 7

Played a bit higher at times first half without much conviction but much better when sticking to defensive matters.

Thiago Alcantara 7

Far too safe and peripheral in first half and almost gifted Arsenal a goal soon after break, but superb pass put Jota in for the opener and improved after that. Subbed.

Fortunate to escape yellow card and end product didn’t match undoubted application until Liverpool lead meant he was able to show pace on counter.

Diogo Jota 6

Too many loose touches and playing off the shoulder of the last defender didn’t really work until ending his game with superb finish for the opener. Subbed.

Luis Diaz 6

Started on the left and switched to the right without too much reward, despite a few glimpses. Subbed.

Roberto Firmino (for Jota 56) 8

Immediately made a difference with his ability to keep the ball and good finish for the second. Booked.

Mohamed Salah (for Diaz 56) 7

Trickery and direct running caused Arsenal issues and struck up instant understanding with fellow sub Firmino.
