Liverpool have climbed four places, leapfrogging Manchester United in the process, as Everton have slipped down a position in the Deloitte Money League.
The Reds overtake their Manchester rivals for the first time in the publication's 26-year history. Meanwhile, the Blues were just one of the two Premier League clubs to fall down the pecking order as figures were published for 2021/22. Liverpool are now third overall in the rankings, with Everton 19th.
At Goodison Park, revenue is reported to have fallen six per cent to £181m from £193.1m last year. Liverpool recorded revenue of £594.3m - a 22 per cent change from the previous year's figure of £487.4m.

The Reds are the biggest movers in this edition of the financial calculations following their increase, moving up from seventh in the rankings to third. Everton have slipped one place from 18th to 19th.
Liverpool's additional broadcast revenue generated by their run to the Champions League final and a significant increase in matchday revenue has been noted by Deloitte as key reasons for the rise.
The Money League factors in revenue from matchday, broadcaster and commercial sources but excludes player transfer fees. While City and Los Blancos' positions in the table didn't change, both clubs recorded a positive change of eight and seven per cent respectively from last year.
Bayern Munich and Barcelona were among the clubs that Liverpool leapfrogged in the Money League. Leeds United are just above Everton in 18th place - a new entry in this year's Money League top 20 - with Newcastle United just behind in 20th position.
Manchester City retained their place at the top of the Money League with Real Madrid in second (Liverpool third) as the Red Devils and Ligue 1 giants Paris Saint-Germain made up the top five in fourth and fifth respectively.
Other Premier League clubs featured in the list with Newcastle United and Leeds United the latest additions in 20th and 18th. Chelsea, Tottenham and Arsenal feature in the top 10, meanwhile West Ham placed in 15th and Leicester City - the other team to fall down the list - in 17th.
