Liverpool 's stuttering season continued on Saturday with a deflating 3-3 draw at home to Brighton.
Now, though, Jurgen Klopp will be focussed on making it back-to-back wins in the Champions League when Rangers come to the cauldron of Anfield on Tuesday. The Reds beat Ajax 2-1 three weeks ago to pick up a morale-boosting three points, helping banish the 4-1 mauling at Napoli six days prior.
While the pressure piles on Klopp, it's also the Liverpool players who're taking the heat. Stars such as Trent Alexander-Arnold, Virgil van Dijk and Darwin Nunez have all come in for criticism, and the only way to put an end to that that is by producing better performances.
Here's a round-up of the latest news from Anfield.
Neville's four-point plan for Alexander-Arnold
Gary Neville has assessed Trent Alexander-Arnold's recent struggles and come up with a four-point plan for him to improve before the World Cup. The 23-year-old's place in the England squad is in doubt following a difficult start to the season in which he's come in for more criticism than ever during his short yet spectacular senior career.
Thankfully, a Manchester United legend is on hand to help and believes that Alexander-Arnold can work on four defensive traits in order to woo Gareth Southgate and reassure Jurgen Klopp. Neville also labelled the right-back as "unbelievably special" and compared him to Brazilian icon Cafu.
Klopp makes Ronaldo comparison
Jurgen Klopp has likened Liverpool's lack of confidence to Cristiano Ronaldo 's predicament at Manchester United. The Reds boss reckons that some of his players are feeling like the five-time Ballon d'Or winner, who's had a season to forget at Old Trafford.
"Do you think Cristiano Ronaldo at the moment is at the top of his confidence? It happens to all of us," Klopp admitted ahead of Rangers' visit. " Lionel Messi last season, pretty much the same. You have to take a step in the right direction and when you're ready, it's [confidence is] back. In individual sports, you can fight yourself through it. In team sport, you have to do it together. It can be more complicated."

Reds and Blues in transfer battle
Chicago Fire wonderkid Jhon Duran is reportedly the subject of a transfer battle between Liverpool and Chelsea. The striking sensation, who turns 19 in December, has been shining in the MLS since moving to North America back in January.
Having shot to stardom in his native Colombia after making his debut for Categoria Primera A side Envigado aged just 15, Duran has scored eight goals and registered six assists in all competitions so far this season in a struggling Chicago side.
Thanks to his goalscoring feats, interest from the Premier League has ramped up. According to reports from the United States, both Liverpool and Chelsea are eyeing the £10million-rated Colombia international.
