Liverpool's Premier League season did not get off to the start many would have expected, with the Reds held to a 2-2 draw away at newly-promoted Fulham.
A brace from Aleksandar Mitrovic meant the Reds had to come from behind twice to ensure they left west London with at least a point in tow. It is incredibly early in the season, but Jurgen Klopp would have been left frustrated at his side's result - especially as the majority of their rivals started the campaign with a win.
Mirror Football has compiled some notable Liverpool headlines and talking points as the Reds aim to bounce back from the underwhelming display at Craven Cottage as quickly as possible.
Thiago's injury woes
As has often been the case for the Spaniard since making the move to Merseyside from Munich in 2020, Thiago is facing a lengthy, injury-enforced spell on the sidelines after sustaining a hamstring strain against Fulham.
It has been reported that he has undergone scans to determine the severity of the situation of the injury and it is worse than first deared with an expected recovery time of six-weeks.
Things get worse for both Liverpool and Thiago himself, as the injury means he will be unavailable for some huge contests that could set the tone for the Reds' campaign.
Klopp won't be able to select Thiago for contests against Crystal Palace, Manchester United, Bournemouth, Newcastle, Everton and Wolves.

Klopp's transfer response
Liverpool are now staring down the barrel of an injury crisis one game into the new season after the latest update surrounding Thiago's fitness.
The Reds already had three midfielders ruled out in Curtis Jones, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and Naby Keita and Thiago increases that tally by one so early into the campaign.
As a result, speculation is rife as to whether Klopp will dip back into the transfer market to rectify the issues presented by the sudden influx of injuries.
"We will see. A transfer must make sense now and in the long-term. We have eight midfielders. We still have enough midfielders," the Reds boss explained. "It’s not that we lack midfielders, it’s just some of them are injured."

Klopp blasted over his excuses
The Reds manager has been the subject of some intense criticism coming from ex-Spurs star Jamie O'Hara.
Klopp sparked anger and ridicule in equal mesure after he bemoaned the fact that the Craven Cottage turf was "too dry" in the wake of their draw against Fulham last weekend.
The remarks did not go down well with ex-Cottager O'Hara, who told talkSPORT. "He loves an excuse, Jurgen, and fair play to him because he gets away with it quite a lot. I've played for Fulham at Craven Cottage and that pitch is immaculate, it's one of the best pitches you're ever going to play on.
"The grass is perfect, they always have it bang on. They water the pitch constantly before the game! They even water the pitch at half-time! It's hot, so it's going to dry out quickly, but come on... Fulham backed themselves, went out and played really well.
"They went after it. I don't think Liverpool were expecting it, they were lethargic - they looked like they still had a hangover from last season and weren't at the races. Fulham capitalised on that. To come out and make excuses about the pitch is just nonsense."
