Origi's final game
Jordan Henderson has called for Liverpool fans to give Divock Origi a warm send-off ahead of his final game for the club.
Origi's contract at Anfield expires this summer and the Belgian forward has been widely tipped to join Italian giants AC Milan. It means the game against Wolves could be his final appearance for Liverpool following repeated heroics in a Reds shirt over the years.
And Henderson thinks Origi "deserves nothing less" than a big celebration of his achievements for the club from the Anfield faithful.
Villa's incentive revealed
Beating Manchester City may not only help Liverpool win the Premier League title – but it could hand Steven Gerrard a nice boost ahead of the summer transfer window.
The Reds could lift the title if Manchester City fail to beat Villa and they can get three points against Wolves. With Villa currently sitting in 14th place in the Premier League table, a win could help lift them as high as tenth.
Finishing that high could be worth a whopping £12million windfall. Clubs can earn up to £3million for each place in the Premier League table, so a favourable outcome could assist greatly to enhance Steven Gerrard's transfer coffers ahead of their summer recruitment plans.
Legends match talking points
A team of Liverpool legends have beaten their Manchester United counterparts in a resounding 3-1 win.
Champions League hero Luis Garcia opened the scoring for Liverpool before Dimitar Berbatov equalised from the penalty spot. It then became the Mark Gonzalez show, though, as the former Reds winger netted twice to crown the Reds the Legends of the North.
It was a game full of talking points, including plenty of rivalries being back on show, Liverpool fans enjoying some playful chants and Gonzalez's eye-catching goal.
