Liverpool currently find themselves in a troubling malaise having slumped to another Premier League defeat on Sunday.
The Reds were defeated 3-2 by table-topping Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium and now look highly unlikely in putting together a challenge for the Premier League title come the end of the campaign. They now sit in tenth position and are already 14 points off the top.
The loss was even more damaging considering Jurgen Klopp ’s men departed Anfield with a couple of major injury blows. With that all being said, here are the latest Reds headlines from Mirror Sport over the past 24 hours.
Liverpool given Luis Diaz worry
Liverpool could potentially be fearing the worst over Luis Diaz after the Colombian left the Emirates Stadium on crutches with his knee in heavy strapping.
The forward was initially selected to start by Jurgen Klopp in north London but lasted just 42 minutes before he was replaced by Roberto Firmino. The problem appeared to centre around a heavy challenge from Arsenal ’s Thomas Partey.
Klopp is not remaining particularly optimistic over his chances of a return any time soon. He said: "He [Alexander-Arnold] is injured unfortunately. Like Luis Diaz as well, it doesn't look good for both. That is the icing on the cake.”

Darwin Nunez’s Mbappe decision backfires
Liverpool striker Darwin Nunez 's celebrations very quickly backfired against Arsenal, having emulated PSG striker Kylian Mbappe for his goal at the Emirates Stadium.
After getting on the scoresheet for the Reds to equalise, he decided to emulate the Frenchman’s celebration as he mimicked a crying baby.
Only 16 minutes after Liverpool had managed to equalise, the hosts found themselves in front yet again - Martinelli teeing up Bukayo Saka in the closing moments of the first-half, leaving the Uruguayan looking a little silly.
Enrique sends Casillas message
Former Liverpool defender Jose Enrique has criticised Iker Casillas after his ‘joke’ about coming out as gay.
The ex-Champions League winner appeared to come out on Sunday, with plenty sending their support to the Real Madrid icon including Carles Puyol. However, the situation was then mudded as Casillas stated that that his Twitter account was hacked alongside a short apology.
Enrique was not totally convinced though. Writing on social media, he said: "Instead of apologize and recognize the mistake rather lie to everyone."
In the meantime, Josh Cavallo also criticised the Spanish pair for their actions.
