Liverpool will bid to kickstart their season with a positive result against their arch rivals, Manchester United, when they clash at Old Trafford on Monday night.
The Reds have made an underwhelming start to the new Premier League campaign and are currently five points behind title rivals Manchester City, albeit with a game in hand, after being held to back-to-back draws by Fulham and Crystal Palace.
Jurgen Klopp is set to be without a clutch of first-team stars for the trip to Manchester, which has led to speculation that he could make a U-turn after he previously ruled out making any more new signings. Here, Mirror Football rounds up all the latest news from in and around Anfield ahead of the seismic showdown...
Keita transfer stance outlined
Naby Keita has been warned by Klopp that he will not be allowed to quit the club this summer in the wake of reports linking the former RB Leipzig ace with a move away.
Keita has just 12 months to run on his current deal at Anfield and is thought to be unhappy that fresh terms have not been agreed. Borussia Dortmund have been credited with an interest in the midfielder, who is free to negotiate with clubs from overseas in the New Year.
But Klopp has admitted that it would be impossible to replace the 27-year-old with less than a fortnight remaining in the transfer window - meaning Keita will stay put for now.

Fabinho has opened up on missing Liverpool's thumping 5-0 win over Manchester United last term - and the Brazilian midfielder has admitted that he was raving at his teammates from home as he wanted them to bag more goals.
The Reds' midfield enforcer was forced to sit out the one-sided clash last season through injury, but was treated to a stunning show from his teammates, who surged into a 4-0 half-time lead courtesy of Mohamed Salah.
But Fabinho has revealed that he wasn't satisfied with Liverpool's dominance and was eager for them to put even more beyond their beleaguered rivals.
Klopp enjoying dominance while it lasts
Liverpool ran riot against Manchester United both home and away last term - but Klopp knows that the Reds' current dominance will not last forever.
Manchester United have since appointed Erik ten Hag and the Dutchman will be eager to get one over on United's bitter rivals after the Reds racked up a 9-0 aggregate lead over United last year.
And while Klopp is enjoying holding the bragging rights right now, he has already admitted that he knows Manchester United's current plight will not last forever.
