Liverpool forward Mohamed Salah has sent a defiant message to Manchester City as the Premier League title race gathers pace.
The Reds kept the pressure up on their title rivals at the weekend as they claimed a 2-0 win over Brighton, with Salah netting a penalty to get himself on the scoresheet.
And the Liverpool ace sent a defiant title message to City following the win.
It comes as Salah continues to be linked with a move away from Anfield, with his contract set to expire at the end of next season as the Reds forward appears to have already responded to Barcelona's interest in signing him.
And Jurgen Klopp has hinted he could move to bring Georginio Wijnaldum back to the club.

Klopp's transfer hint
Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp has admitted he "really misses" Georginio Wijnaldum's presence behind the scenes as the midfielder appears set to leave Paris Saint-Germain.
Wijnaldum joined the Ligue 1 outfit last summer after his contract at Anfield expired but his move to the French capital has not worked out as he'd hoped as the Dutchman has largely struggled to hold down a place in Mauricio Pochettino's line-up.
It has led to reports that the midfielder is far from happy in Paris and could seek a move away from the club this summer.
And Jurgen Klopp's previous comments may hint that he would jump at the chance to bring Wijnaldum back to Anfield.
Salah's title message
Mohamed Salah has fired a title warning to Manchester City as Liverpool continue to hunt down their rivals in the Premier League table.
The Egyptian forward helped his side keep up the pressure on City as the Reds claimed a 2-0 win over Brighton on Saturday.
Luis Diaz gave Liverpool the lead in the first half as he bravely headed the ball past Robert Sanchez, before Salah netted a second-half penalty to ensure the Reds left the south coast with all three points.
And following another win for his side, Salah fired some words of warning in Manchester City's direction.
Salah's response to Barcelona
Mohamed Salah has already responded to Barcelona's reported interest in signing him this summer.
The Reds forward has been in fine form this season, with his 20 goals and 10 assists in 26 Premier League games helping drag his side back into title contention.
But Salah's future at Anfield remains far from certain with his contract set to expire at the end of next season, and Liverpool could decide to cash in on him this summer rather than let him leave for nothing in a year's time.
That has led to him being linked with clubs across Europe – and Salah's already indicated whether he would be happy to move to Spanish giants Barcelona.
