Liverpool finally gave their season the kickstart it needed on Sunday when they claimed a statement win over Manchester City.
The pulsating clash at Anfield had almost everything, including a red card for Reds boss Jurgen Klopp.
The German slammed referee Anthony Taylor in the aftermath of the win for the events that led to his sending off.
Klopp's furious reaction comes as Virgil van Dijk revealed how he stopped Erling Haaland from scoring and the impact of Sadio Mane's exit was played down.

Klopp blasts Taylor
Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp has slammed Anthony Taylor for the events that led to his sending off against Manchester City.
Klopp was shown a red card after screaming in the face of the assistant referee to protest a a failure to award his side a free-kick.
While he admitted that his red-card was deserved, Klopp was still furious at Taylor. And he criticised the performance of the refereeing team despite seeing his side claim a statement win.
"But you cannot have this situation. It is the clearest foul I ever saw in front of the linesman and he is not bothered. It is clear. They just watch the game but we [the managers] are involved," he said.

Van Dijk opens up on Haaland tactics
Virgil van Dijk has opened up on how he helped Liverpool's defence stop Erling Haaland from scoring on Sunday.
The Reds are just the second Premier League side to have prevented Haaland from grabbing a goal.
The Norwegian has already hit the back of the net 15 times this term, but he was unable to find a way past Alisson.
Much of that was down to the performance of Van Dijk and his fellow members of Liverpool's back four.
The Reds were forced to deploy James Milner at right-back as a result of an injury to Trent Alexander-Arnold.
And Van Dijk has now revealed how the Reds were able to keep arguably the best striker in the top-flight goal-less.
Mane exit played down
Liverpool star Van Dijk has also played down the impact of Sadio Mane's decision to leave for Bayern Munich in the summer.
Both the Reds and Mane have struggled since the attacker departed Anfield.
But Van Dijk has now moved to insist that Mane's departure is not the reason behind the Reds' struggles.
Instead, the Dutchman believes Liverpool made the right decision by letting him go.
“That’s funny, but I don’t think it’s that personally. Obviously Sadio was a massive player for us, but he wanted to leave, it’s not that we wanted to let him go," Van Dijk said in response to the suggestion.
