Jurgen Klopp takes his stuttering Liverpool side to the Emirates for a date with in-form Arsenal on Sunday afternoon.
Recent history proves that the Reds tend to get the better of the Gunners whenever the two face off, but the form guide suggests Liverpool could be up against it against Mikel Arteta’s men, who have won seven of their eight games so far this term.
Liverpool currently sit 11 points behind their hosts and if that gap were to extend to 14 it could prove to be too much ground for them to make up already at this early stage of the season.
Mirror Football has taken a look at a few of the main talking points centred around Liverpool before they take on the Premier League table-toppers in North London.
Bellingham Blow
HAVE YOUR SAY! Should Liverpool try and break the bank for Bellingham? Comment below
Liverpool have seen their chances of landing the signing of Borussia Dortmund superstar Jude Bellingham take a dent as Real Madrid are thought to be leading the chase.
Among the teenager’s lengthy list of potential suitors, the Reds were reportedly the most likely to sign the England international just a few weeks ago.
However, Mirror Football understands Bellingham and his team of representatives are well-aware of Los Blancos longstanding interest and has since been told by the Spanish giants that they will try to sign him as soon as this summer.
Marca have claimed that Real Madrid also have the upper hand in the clamour for Bellingham due to their stellar working relationship with Dortmund, especially their CEO Hans-Joachim Watzke.

Klopp’s scouting advice
Liverpool are getting their plans for the January transfer window sorted early after a recent scouting trip abroad.
The Reds scouts were reportedly in Istanbul to see Galatasaray take on Konyaspor to keep tabs on as many as four players from the Turkish giants.
Those on Liverpool’s radar include France youth international Sacha Boey and Denmark centre-back Victor Nelsson as well as Turkey international duo Kerem Akturkoglu and Yunus Akgun.
Klopp oversaw four additions in the summer window just gone, but neither of Darwin Nunez or loanee Arthur Melo have had the desired impact as of yet, while Fabio Carvalho and Calvin Ramsey are still very much young prospects.

Arthur's injury crisis
The loan signing of Arthur Melo from Juventus raised plenty of eyebrows when the Brazilian arrived in Merseyside on deadline day, but he has failed to silence the doubters.
In fact, Arthur has had a nightmare start to his temporary Reds career after failing to feature in the league for the first month before sustaining a serious injury that will require surgery to rectify.
As a result, the man Klopp signed on loan to offer help if another injury crisis were to occur has since been struck down with an injury himself. Arthur is expected to be sidelined until the new year.
It is believed that the Reds forked out £4million to bring the Juventus midfielder to the club on a temporary basis and included an option to buy clause in the deal worth £33m.
Given the way the first half of the loan has gone, it looks unlikely that Klopp and co. will fork out more than £30m to keep the 26-year-old around on a permanent basis.
