Liverpool enjoyed a relatively successful January transfer window as they secured the signing of Colombian winger Luis Diaz from Porto for a fee that could rise to £50million.
The club's attention will now slowly turn towards planning for the next transfer window, and the Reds are already being linked with several names.
One of those is Juventus forward Paulo Dybala, whose contract expires at the end of the season, although three problems have emerged with the potential deal.
Jurgen Klopp's side have also been linked with some of the top young talent in the world, including a move for the 'next Romelu Lukaku' and Brazilian wonderkid Endrick Felipe but have suffered a blow in their pursuit of one of them.

'Next Romelu Lukaku' linked
Liverpool could swoop for Le Havre youngster Andy Elysee Logbo in the summer – with the player having already been compared with Chelsea striker Romelu Lukaku.
The young French forward's contract is set to expire at the end of the season and if he does decide to leave his current club, Liverpool could be at the front of the queue to sign him after the player trained with them two years ago.
Elysee Logbo, 17, visited the Reds' facilities aged 15 and reports have suggested that he continues to be monitored by the club.
He has been impressing for his club's under-19s side with eight goals in 13 appearances, including a very impressive recent performance against PSG.
Transfer blow
Brazillian wonderkid Endrick Felipe has dealt Liverpool a transfer blow after naming his ideal next club.
Endrick, 15, has become one of world football's hottest young properties after impressing for Palmeiras at the Copa Sao Paulo de Futebol Júnior, scoring six goals in seven games as his side won the cup and he was voted player of the tournament.
The youngster has been linked with a move to the Premier League, with Manchester City, United, Chelsea and Liverpool all credited with following the player's development.
But he's now spoken out about who he wants to play for next – and it's bad news for the Reds.
Dybala problems emerge
Liverpool fans have been excited by the prospect of their club bringing in Juventus forward Paulo Dybala this summer
Dybala's contract in Italy expires at the end of the season and he has been widely linked with a move to Anfield.
But issues have been raised with the move as the Reds may need deep pockets to secure his signature.
With Premier League rivals Manchester United, Chelsea and Arsenal also said to be circling, Dybala's move could become one of the transfer sagas of the summer.
