The Reds booked a Wembley FA Cup semi-final against Manchester City thanks to Diogo Jota’s 78th-minute goal at The City Ground on Sunday. Jota managed to get his toes to Kostas Tsimikas’ cross to the far post to poke in the only goal of a tight game to end Forest's fairytale FA Cup run.
And the Liverpool striker only discovered his goal had set-up a semi-final against Premier League title rivals City while he was being interviewed after the game.

Forest talking points
Liverpool overcame a tricky away tie against Nottingham Forest to book their place in the semi-finals on Sunday.
Diogo Jota's late strike sealed the win as Liverpool's second-string full-backs shone. But the Reds were left feeling attacking absences as Mohamed Salah and Sadio Mane were left out of the squad. It was a game full of talking points as Liverpool had to overcome impressive opponents in the Championship outfit – particularly in the second half.
Klopp's criticism
Jurgen Klopp was critical of his team following the 1-0 win over Nottingham Forest.
The Liverpool manager claimed his side 'should have played better' after the match against Steve Cooper's Championship outfit. Klopp described the game as a 'proper cup match' before suggesting he had not been entirely happy with his side's performance.
But despite their difficulties, the German added he was 'really happy' to see his side go through.
Jota learns fate
Diogo Jota learned his goal had set-up a Wembley FA Cup semi-final against Manchester City on live TV.
Jota bagged the only goal of the game just minutes after Philip Zinckernagel missed a golden chance for the hosts to cause an FA Cup upset. After his goal put the Reds into the next round, Jota was interviewed by ITV following the match.
And it was during the interview when the Liverpool striker was asked how he feels about facing Pep Guardiola's side in the next round. The Reds forward's reaction gave an insight into the mentality inside the Liverpool dressing room as they head into the business end of the season still hunting a historic quadruple.
