Liverpool have their work cut out to get their list of expiring contracts resolved before the situation gets out of hand.
The future of Mohamed Salah is the main talking point around Anfield with the Egyptian still seemingly no closer to penning an extension.
But it's not just Salah who could soon be a free agent, with Roberto Firmino and Sadio Mane also into the final 18 months of their respective deals, along with other members of the Liverpool squad.
Reds boss Jurgen Klopp has now offered some insight into the discussions going on behind the scenes, while also setting Mane a daunting new challenge.
Here are Mirror Football's latest Liverpool headlines.

Mane challenged
Jurgen Klopp wants Liverpool forward Sadio Mane to become a contender for the Ballon d'Or after leading his country Senegal to victory at the Africa Cup of Nations.
Mane netted the winning penalty in the final, against Reds teammate Mo Salah's Egypt, to ensure Senegal lifted the trophy for the first-ever time.
But despite his heroics for his country over the last month or so, Klopp wants even more from Mane at club level as he looks to challenge the best footballers in the world for individual honours.
And helping Liverpool to win one particular trophy could help him wrap up this year's Ballon d'Or, according to Klopp.
Sadio contract latest
Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp has opened up on the club's contract negotiations with Sadio Mane.
Mane will turn 30 before the end of the season, with his next contract widely seen as his last opportunity to earn one last big deal.
But despite Mane's advancing years, Klopp has shared his belief that the forward can continue to play at the top level for a while to come, as he compared the Reds ace to the likes of Robert Lewandowski, Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo.
And it may hint at how the Reds are viewing their ongoing contract negotiations with the Senegal star.
Milner's 'desperation'
Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp has told James Milner he wants him to stay at Anfield beyond his 37th birthday.
The former England midfielder is out of contract in the summer - and Klopp has already spoken to him about extending his stay at the club and has told the Reds to make it happen.
He remains a big influence in Jurgen Klopp’s squad - both on and off the pitch.
Klopp believes that Milner has more mileage left in his legs - and that he will continue playing even if an agreement isn’t reached for him to stay at Anfield.
