While Jurgen Klopp may wish for Liverpool to be out of the spotlight amid their poor start to the season, owners FSG have firmly put the Reds back into it.
The American firm have put Liverpool up for sale after 12 years in charge in the Anfield boardroom. But for any party to successful takeover the Premier League giants, they will have to pay a staggering fee to FSG.
The news comes as FSG also released a statement to insist their focus remains on the Reds despite a potential sale and Klopp hailed star attacker Mohamed Salah. Here, Mirror Football rounds up all the latest Liverpool news.
Reds' staggering asking price
Fenway Sports Group have set a staggering price tag of £4billion for any parties interested in buying Liverpool. The American firm have a number of reasons for seeking to sell the Premier League giants now after more than a decade in charge.
The most recent mega-money takeovers of top-flight teams have been for Newcastle United and Chelsea. And it appears that FSG are hoping to set a new record for the sale of a football club.
A number of parties are being linked with buying the Reds, including minority stakeholders RedBird Capital and Britain's richest man Sir Jim Ratcliffe. It is unknown if FSG will receive the fee they are searching for.

FSG state intentions
Liverpool owners FSG have insisted they remain "committed" to helping the club achieve success. That is despite the American firm putting the Reds up for sale after 12 years in charge of the club.
Since FSG took over in October 2010, Liverpool have won the Premier League, Champions League, FA Cup and Carabao Cup. And the Americans have re-iterated their desire to achieve success despite the uncertainty around their ownership.
“FSG has said before that under the right terms and conditions we would consider new shareholders if it was in the best interests of Liverpool as a club. FSG remains fully committed to the success of Liverpool, both on and off the pitch,” their statement read.
Klopp hails "insane" Salah
Jurgen Klopp has hailed superstar attacker Mohamed Salah after he scored two goals in Liverpool's win over Tottenham. It was a crucial victory for the Reds, taking them back into the top-half of the table.
Salah played a key role in the win, firing in the first before taking advantage of Eric Dier's error to chip the ball over Hugo Lloris for the second. And Klopp has been left in awe of the Egyptian international.
"Everybody knows that when you look back at his career in four, five or six years you will be talking about one of the best strikers ever because the numbers are insane. He played like a real, real striker," Klopp said.
