Liverpool have another tricky game ahead of them as they look to avoid a third successive Premier League defeat.
Despite losing to Nottingham Forest and Leeds in their last two league outings, Jurgen Klopp's team have been in better form in Europe. They won their final Champions League group game against Napoli, making it five victories from six games, but it wasn't quite enough to pip the Serie A side to top spot.
Next up for Klopp's men is a Sunday meeting with a Tottenham team who held Liverpool to two draws in the Premier League last season. Here are the latest news lines from Anfield.
FA appeals Klopp punishment
The Football Association has confirmed it will appeal the decision not to hand Jurgen Klopp a touchline ban for his behaviour during Liverpool's victory over Manchester City. Klopp was sent off towards the end of the game, but escaped with a fine and no suspension after an Independent Regulatory Commission ruling.
"The FA can confirm that it is appealing against the independent Regulatory Commission's sanction in relation to the recent case involving Jurgen Klopp after reviewing its written reasons," a spokesperson for the body said.
Klopp was fined £30,000 after screaming in the face of an assistant referee. However, he was able to take his place in the dugout for Liverpool's match against Nottingham Forest in October rather than serving a ban.
Klopp's Qatar stance
Jurgen Klopp has said England's manager and players shouldn't be relied upon to send a message over the hosting of the 2022 World Cup in Qatar. The manager has asked questions about the decision to award the tournament to the country, and to hold the tournament midway through the season, but has also explained his stance on the responsibilities of those taking part.

“Now, we are telling players they have to wear an armband and if they don’t do it then they are not on their side. No, no, no; these are footballers, it is a tournament and the players must go there and play and do the best for their countries," the former Borussia Dortmund boss said.
“They are wonderful people there and it is not at all that everything is bad over there but how it happened was not right in the first place. But now it is there, let them play the game as players and managers."
Conte refreshes Reds' memories
Ahead of Sunday's meeting between the two sides, Tottenham manager Antonio Conte has reminded Liverpool his team helped deny them the title last season. Spurs and Liverpool drew both meetings last term, 2-2 in north London and 1-1 at Anfield towards the end of the season.
“I understood his frustration," Conte said, in relation to Klopp's dissatisfaction with Spurs' approach in the May draw. "They lost the title for these two points (dropped). But you know, instead we reached the Champions League with that draw.
“It’s OK, every coach has to speak for his team – and for every coach it’s important to understand the best strategy to reach a good result. Honestly, I have seen again the last game we played against Liverpool and, if there was a team that deserved to win, it was Tottenham, not Liverpool."
