Liverpool are hoping their statement win over Manchester City can help to kickstart their season as a clash with West Ham awaits on Wednesday.
But life at Anfield continues to be difficult for Darwin Nunez, who became the Reds' record signing in the summer. Nunez has struggled to adapt to life in the Premier League since his arrival and has now been hit with a new blow.
Amid Nunez's struggles, Andy Robertson has delivered his verdict on who will win the Premier League title and Jurgen Klopp provided an update on the injury Diogo Jota suffered against City. Here, Mirror Football rounds up the latest Liverpool news.
Nunez hits new low
Darwin Nunez has been hit by a fresh blow after it was revealed the Liverpool star was one of six players to receive zero votes in the Ballon d'Or rankings. The award was based on the 2021/2022 season, which Nunez spent at Benfica.
The striker starred in Portugal, scoring 24 goals to earn his dream move to Liverpool. But it appears the voters were not impressed with that record, with Nunez finishing joint-25th in the standings for the Ballon d'Or.
Nunez was joined in the unwanted position by Manchester City's Joao Cancelo, former Chelsea defender Antonio Rudiger, RB Leipzig forward Christopher Nkunku, Bayern Munich star Joshua Kimmich and AC Milan goalkeeper Mike Maignan.

Robertson gives title verdict
Andy Robertson has admitted that Liverpool are all but out of the Premier League title race after their stuttering start to the season. The Reds are 14 points adrift of leaders Arsenal, despite their win over Manchester City on Sunday.
And that has left Robertson feeling that the title may be out of reach for Jurgen Klopp's men. Instead, he believes the Reds need to focus on improving their performances following their mixed start to the campaign.
“Those teams are trying to close the gap in terms of quality, but we’re too far behind to focus on that just now. We just need to focus on putting in performances like we did tonight because if we do that I believe we’ll get chances against any team, and defensively I thought we looked solid,” he said.
Klopp delivers Jota update
Jurgen Klopp has revealed that Diogo Jota will miss Liverpool's trip to West Ham on Wednesday. The Portuguese forward was forced off injured during the win over City on Sunday.
Jota has been able to start just twice due to fitness issues this season and was stretchered off against Pep Guardiola's men. That has led to Klopp fearing that he will be set for another spell on the sidelines.
"We miss the next one with Diogo. He felt real pain in that moment but I have no idea how bad it is. If Diogo stays down it is not good. I saw it on the side on the screen, I am the first who saw it," Klopp said.
