Liverpool continue to be linked with Inter Milan striker Lautaro Martinez and reports now claim they are 'monitoring him closely'.

The Reds already bolstered their attacking options in January with the arrival of Luis Diaz from Porto, but could make further additions in the summer if players are to leave.

Italian journalist Marco Conterio says the Argentina striker is 'popular in England' as Tottenham have also been linked.

He told FC Inter News : “Inter are moving and watching many players, but they are also watching many clubs be interested in their players.

“One above all is Lautaro Martinez, who is very popular in England. Liverpool are monitoring him very carefully.”

Now, Portuguese outlet O Jogo claim the Reds have placed the Uruguay international on their list of possible targets, but he won't come cheap.

It has also been suggested that Benfica would be looking to recoup at least £54.3m if they're to part ways with Nunez.

As Divock Origi continues to be the subject of transfer speculation, Liverpool continue to be linked with players that could be his possible replacement.

The Belgium striker could walk away for nothing in the summer and Jeunes Footeux claim the Merseyside club will need to strengthen further.

Their report suggests Sparta Prague forward Adam Hlozek has caught the eye of Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp and he may look to move for the 19-year-old.

However, the likes of Borussia Dortmund and Bayern Munich are also said to be keeping close tabs on the player, who currently favours a move to the Bundesliga.
