M&S Bank Arena in Liverpool is home to an eclectic mix of live music, comedy, stage shows, events and more.

First opening in January 2008, the multi-purpose arena has established itself as an integral cog on Liverpool's entertainment scene. Construction of the smash-hit venue cost £164 million.

Over the years, it's played host to global superstars including Beyoncé, Lady Gaga, Blondie, Echo and the Bunnymen, Slipknot, Little Mix, Oasis, Bob Dylan and many more.

In May, the grand final of the Eurovision Song Contest 2023 will take place at the arena. The much-anticipated event, which Liverpool is hosting on behalf of Ukraine, will take place on Saturday, May 13. The semi-finals will take place on Tuesday, May 9 and Thursday, May 11.

M&S Bank Arena can be found at King's Dock, Port of Liverpool, 16 Monarchs Quay, Liverpool, L3 4FP. It's based in an ideal spot in Liverpool's thriving city centre, and is less than 20 minutes from the UK motorway network. Conveniently located near Liverpool's main through-road, the M&S Bank Arena is easily accessible by car. Just follow the white on brown tourist route signs for the waterfront, which are visible on all major routes into the city.

If you’re travelling by train, the arena is just a short taxi ride away from Liverpool Lime Street Station, while bus services can be taken advantage of at the bus station at the Liverpool ONE, which is just a five minute walk from the M&S Bank Arena.

Coach drop-off areas are also adjacent to the King's Dock site.

The arena boasts a capacity of 11,000, making it an ideal venue for a wide range of events. The layout can be arranged in multiple seating configurations to suit all manner of occasions.

There's a selection of floor seating, then a lower tier, an upper tier, and VIP boxes. Standard layouts range from "just under 4,000 to just over 11,000 but the hall is fully flexible to allow bespoke configurations for musical, entertainment and sporting events."

Guidance on the M&S Bank Arena website states "each event layout is unique, so refer to the individual plan provided when booking tickets online".
