Liverpool's 'quadruple' chances are over after Manchester City were crowned Premier League champions yesterday.
Liverpool fans were in good voice at Anfield when they found the out the news that Aston Villa had scored two goals before Manchester City could find the back of the net. But this was not to last after Man City scored their three goals in five minutes.
At Anfield, the Reds bid farewell to Divock Origi who was unable to get any last minutes in under Jurgen Klopp after he picked up a muscle injury.
It also looks doubtful that Thiago will be available for Liverpool's trip to Paris on Sunday for the Champions League final. The Spaniard seemed to pick up an injury minutes before half-time.
