The Rail, Maritime and Transport (RMT) union have launched three days of national strike action across the railway network. This means Liverpool Lime Street could be impacted by the three-day rail strike occurring as a result of a potential walkout of over 50,000 railway staff.

- Saturday, June, 25
Services at Liverpool Lime Street could be affected
Four operators running train services from Liverpool Lime Street have voted in favour of strike action. Services therefore could be affected if strike action goes ahead on:
- Network Rail
- Avanti West Coast (runs services between Liverpool and London)
- Transpennine Express (runs services in the north of England)
- Northern Trains (runs services in the north of England)
