Liverpool icon Jamie Carragher issued a simple response to a quip from a Manchester United fan account as they edge closer to signing Wout Weghorst.
The forward is on the verge of becoming the latest addition for Erik ten Hag's side after seemingly penning an agreement to terminate his loan at Turkish giants Besiktas.
Carragher often engages with the back and forth between rivals fans and couldn't resist the jovial approach after a message from a United fan group.

With the imminent arrival of Weghorst, who stands at a whopping 6ft 6in, a joke has been made citing the opposite of his initial thoughts on Martinez.
The tweet from Stretford Paddock said: ‘I think Weghorst is too tall to play in the Premier League. I just don’t see how this can work.’ To which the 44-year-old replied in good spirits with two clapping hands and two laughing face emojis.
The former Reds defender has been outspoken in his analysis of the Premier League and in particular, defenders. After signing Lisandro Martinez from Ajax, Carragher discussed his arrival at Old Trafford.
"Now, we should never judge managers or players too early. But I’m convinced this can’t work because the size of him playing in a back four," he said on Monday Night Football.
"Maybe he could go left-back, maybe he could play in a back three, but in a back four, he cannot play there in the Premier League. What I would say about him, because of his size, is that is a problem for him. No matter what anyone says, being 5ft 9in is a problem."
So far, the Argentine has proved him wrong after being one of the key influences in the Red Devils' upturn in form under the guise of Ten Hag.
