Liverpool FC know size of the task to beat true mentality monsters Man City
"Sunday will celebrate the two best teams not just in the Premier League but in the history of the competition," writes the Manchester Evening News' senior City reporter Simon Bajkowski. "Manchester City and Liverpool have raised the standard required to win the division to extraordinary and unprecedented highs, and both are still within touching distance of breaking through the 90-point barrier once again.

With 10 straight victories since the middle of January, they have closed the gap to City to one point ahead of their trip to the Etihad.

Guardiola calls Klopp 'biggest rival' in coaching career
Manchester City boss Guardiola has named Klopp as his fiercest, most intense rivalry throughout his career. The two sides go head to head once again on Sunday, with the title at stake.
The City boss believes the level of the competition he's faced from Liverpool in recent years surpasses anything he's experienced with Barcelona or Bayern Munich. He famously went head to head with Jose Mourinho, while the former Manchester United boss was at Real Madrid.
"In the last five years they have been the biggest opponent," Guardiola said Friday about Liverpool. "Jurgen, as a manager, has been the biggest rival I've ever had in my career and I think what both teams propose is good for football.
"I will remember my period here, when I'm retired watching and playing golf, I'll remember my biggest rival was Liverpool, for sure."
