Jurgen Klopp is hoping to have two key players back for his final match as Liverpool boss.
The German will take charge of the club for one last time at home to Wolves on Sunday, in what is certain to be a hugely emotional occasion.
Andy Robertson missed the draw at Aston Villa and Diogo Jota has been out of action for the last three weeks, but both could feature this weekend on the final day of the season.
Joel Matip, Thiago Alcantara and Ben Doak are all sidelined.
Here is your latest update of Liverpool injury news and potential return dates.
Diogo Jota
Diogo Jota was ruled out for only two weeks when he picked up a knock in the win at Fulham on April 21, but he has been on the sidelines since.
Reports suggest the forward has returned to training this week, which could leave him in contention to face former club Wolves on the final day this weekend.
Potential return date: Sunday, May 19 vs Wolves
Andy Robertson
The left-back missed the thrilling clash with Aston Villa due to a minor concern, with it deemed unnecessary to risk the player's fitness.
Speaking after the 3-3 draw, Klopp confirmed Robertson would be returning to training on Tuesday, raising the possibility he will be available for the manager's final game in charge.
“I saw him this morning and he told me he’s ready to train from tomorrow on,” Klopp told reporters. “That’s the situation.”
Potential return date: Sunday, May 19 vs Wolves
Joel Matip
Matip has likely played his last game for Liverpool after suffering a serious knee injury in December. Klopp confirmed that he won’t play again this season after rupturing his ACL and his contract is up in the summer.
Potential return date: Summer 2024
Thiago Alcantara
Thiago has only played five minutes of football for Liverpool this season. He missed the first half of the season with a hip injury, before making his return as a substitute against Arsenal on February 4. He suffered a muscle injury in his brief cameo, which has ruled him out since.
He is not expected to play again for Liverpool this season.
When asked in February, Klopp was unsure when the player would be fit. He told reporters: “There's no timescale. I don't know, to be honest. It's a couple of things [that] he has to do now from a medical point of view and then I don't know if that will then mean that he can play again [this season].”
Potential return date: Summer 2024
Ben Doak
After surgery on his knee over the winter, Doak will miss the remainder of the campaign.
