Liverpool have two key players available for a week where they face Bologna and Crystal Palace.
The Reds host Bologna in the Champions League on Wednesday before a Premier League trip to Palace on Saturday.
Darwin Nunez and Andy Robertson are back in training for Arne Slot, but Diogo Jota is a doubt and Federico Chiesa has joined Harvey Elliot on the treatment table.
Here is the latest Liverpool injury news...
Darwin Nunez
Nunez returned to training on Tuesday after missing the 2-1 win over Wolves on Saturday through illness.
The Uruguayan is set to return to the squad for the Bologna game, but may be used off the bench.
Potential return date: Wednesday 2 October vs Bologna
Andy Robertson
Robertson was also involved in the session at the AXA Training Centre on Tuesday after coming off late on in the win over Wolves.
Slot could opt to start Kostas Tsimikas at left-back against Bologna if Robertson is not fully fit.
“I don't expect this to be a big problem, although you never know, but I think he just got a knock," said the Liverpool boss.
Potential return date: Wednesday 2 October vs Bologna
Diogo Jota
Jota missed Liverpool training on Tuesday as the striker underwent a scan on his injured foot.
The Portugal international picked up the injury against his old club Wolves and although the scan results came back clear he sat out training as a precaution.
“Diogo missed two sessions after the game against Wolves,” Slot said. “He took a knock. Expecting him to be with us tomorrow, available.”
Potential return date: Wednesday 2 October vs Bologna
Federico Chiesa
Chiesa was also absent from the session on Tuesday and is set to miss the visit of Bologna.
He is doubtful for the trip to Palace and may not return until after the international break.
“Federico trained with us yesterday and came in today with some problems, and I’m not expecting him to be in the team tomorrow,” Slot said.
“I’m not expecting him to be out for a very long period of time. But this game is not possible for him and we have to wait and see if he can manage to be in the team on Saturday. And afterwards it’s the international break.”
Potential return date: Saturday 5 October vs Crystal Palace
Harvey Elliott
Elliott sustained a fractured foot while playing for the England U21s earlier this month and is expected back in action at some point this month.
“Harvey is of course a big disappointment for him but not only for him, also for us because OK, he didn’t play that much in the first three games but he played a lot in pre-season and he showed himself really well so, of course, if he had stayed fit he would have had a lot of playing time in the upcoming fixtures,” Slot said last month.
